What is the Small Group Coaching program?

A focused small-group environment that blends live coaching, disciplined routines, and practical tools so you can learn, apply, and iterate in real time. Participants meet at a weekly designated time (see schedule below). Dr Long will provide you with his personal coaching to your specific trading situation. This is the highest level of personalized trading coaching you can obtain to benefit from Dr Long and the Owl Group's trading expertise to catapult your trading competency to the next level. We strive to keep the cohort small enough (around 4, no more than 8) so everyone gets personalized attention.

Who is this program for?

​

Traders who want structured accountability, small-group coaching, and a disciplined cadence to build skill, consistency, and confidence.

What is the required skill level for participating?

​

This program accommodates expert traders as well as those who are relatively early in their journey. Both ends of the competency spectrum benefit. Experts often realize their blind spots when a novice asks a question. Cohorts currently have a theme as a focus, however participants can choose to rotate between themes.

What is the weekly time commitment?

​

Plan for 60–90 minutes for the office-hours session, plus 30–60 minutes of prep (journals, charts, action items). The monthly self-report takes 20–30 minutes.

What is the schedule?

​

The weekly coaching sessions are currently being held at the following time slots. Time is Central Standard Time (CST).

​

Monday 8 to 9pm: Focus on participants who want to develop automated systems.

Tuesday 8 to 9pm : SPY/ES Traders focusing on advanced futures & options. This is a by invitation only group.

Wednesday 8 to 9pm: Traders adapting their own systems for trading.

Alternate Sundays 9 to 10am: Global friendly time for International participants.

What is the pricing?

​

One year of coaching program that gives you weekly participation and check-in for the entire year, personalized coaching and monitoring of your trading is $2997/year.

​

If you cannot make it to the active coaching time but would benefit from listening in on the sessions, consider the observer pricing of $997/year.

What is the difference between Active and Observer benefits?

​​

As an Active participant you meet over zoom every week, submit your trading goals, review your progress and get advice.

You have lifetime access to all Small Group Coaching recordings, not just your own cohort.

You have access to 'My Sage Advisor', our live and evolving knowledge based in a chatGTP style interaction that uses only our data and lessons and thus not prone to hallucinations from unproven sources.

As an Observer, you do not participate live. Instead, you have access to the Small Group Coaching recordings to review at your own time and pace. You also have access to 'My Sage Advisor'.

 

Are there any prerequisites?

 The primary purpose of Active  coaching is to guide small groups of similarly trained people towards process improvement in and around Owl Group systems and shared techniques. You must be familiar with Owl Group concepts, for example as taught in the Foundations Course.

If you do not have Foundations Course level knowledge, consider signing up for the Observer Status. Ideally you should also enroll in the Foundations Course (contact us for bundle discount).

What materials are needed?

We provide all content for you.  You should continue to use your preferred Trading Platform.

Owl Groups and partners provide (for additional fee, varies by platform) pre-built software templates based on the Owl Group systems and techniques on popular trading platforms such as TC2000, ThinkOrSwim, Trading View, Trade Station. ​
